The Musicales Dance By Jeremy Thaxton

The room is empty

The dance floor is clear

You and I are the only one’s there

Our eyes meet each other from across the room

We don’t know why

But something inside compels us to walk toward each other

I take you hand in mine

And whisk away with you onto the dance floor

No music is playing

But that doesn’t really matter

For we make our own music within our hearts

The room is empty

The dance floor is clear

No music is playing

Except for what is playing  within our hearts

For this is a musicales dance
